Concerns have been raised regarding recent allocations within aged care, in particular the disparity between the private and public health sectors.

Despite a promise of $1.2 billion dollars in funding for Aged Care, Federal Independent Tony Windsor recently brought attention to the wage gap between nurses, and aged-care workers in the public health system.
