Wanted man could be hiding in Riverina region

Victorian police say a man who has been on the run from police since 2010 may be hiding in the NSW Victoria border region.

Purana Taskforce detectives say they have received information that 55 year old Graham Gene Potter may be staying in the Riverina area.

Potter was on bail when he failed to appear in Melbourne Court on charges for conspiracy to murder, on February 1st 2010.

He was last seen on August 28 last year, when he ran from a routine police stop in Tully in northern Queensland.

Detective Superintendent Gerry Ryan says Potter is likely to be living rough, either camping in a bush or living in a caravn.

He says they have had several reports of signtings across the Riverina region.
