Police investigate another fatal shooting in Western Sydney

Sydney police are investigating another fatal shooting in the Western suburbs, with a 27 year old man being killed after being shot in the back while walking to his car.

Police and paramedics were called to theĀ until complex in Pendle HillĀ just after midnight.

Tthe man was taken to hospital, but died shortly after.

Witnesses have described the lone gunman as wearing a black hooded jumper, and say he was last seen waking toward Goodall Street in Pendle Hill.

The victim has not yet been identified, but it is believed he was previosuly known to police.

Police are yet to indicate whether this incident is linked to a double shooting in Sydney’s south-west on Tuesday.
