Police believe body is missing 22 year old woman

Victoria Police say they now believe a body found in a Melbourne over the weekend is that of 22 year Sarah Cafferkey, who has been missing for the past 10 days.

Ms Cafferkey was last seen leaving her home in Bacchus March west of Melbourne, and is believed to have gone out with friends the following night.

A body was found at a home in Point Cook on Saturday night, and the head of the homicide squad Detective Inspector Michael Roberts says they now believe it is the missing woman.

But he says they cannot confirm the identity until they receive a positive identification from the coroners office.
