Pistorius to face court in March

South African Olympian and Paralympian Oscar Pistorius has formerly been charged with the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steencamp and will be tried in March next year.

The 26-year-old double amputee has admitted to killing Ms Steenkamp on February 14 this year, at his home in Pretoria, because he thought she was an intruder.

A single senior judge will preside over the case, as South Africa does not have a jury system.
