Aussie Sally Pearson is kicking off her Olympic campaign in the heats of the 100m hurdles.

Meantime 3 Australians are in action in the velodrome, with Anna Mearesand Shane Perkins in the women’s and men’s sprint, while Annette Edmudson will begin her women’s omnium campaign.

In shooting, Aussie Dane Simpson will aim to qualify for the 50m rifle finals, while Wtham Warren represents Australian in the 3m springboard diving.

 In canoeing Murray Stewart will compete in the opening heat of his best event the K1 1000 sprint, while in Equestrian, Edwina Tops Alexander attempts to qualify in the jumping.

In men’s basketball, Australia will take on Argentina, while our men’s volleyballers take on Poland.

And in sailing, Matthew Belcher and Malcolm Page represent Australia in the men’s 470, while Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jenson contest the men’s 49ers.
