More health workers killed in Pakistan

Pakistani police say seven aid workers have been killed in a drive-by shooting near the north-western town of Swabi.

It comes as last month, a number of polio vaccination workers were shot dead in the country’s capital.

The seven, which included 6 women and a male health technician, were killed while travelling home from a children’s community centre, after their vehicle was sprayed with bullets.

Meanwhile, a bomb has exploded in Karachi killing at least 2, and wounding 50 others.
