Israel's attack on Syria "opens the door to all possibilities"

Syria has accused Israel of supplying weapons to rebels in the country, who are fighting against President Bashar Al-Assad’s regime.

It follows reports Israeli air raids overnight, have hit three military sites outside Damascus.

The raids were supposedly targeting weapons bound for Lebanese group Hezbollah, creating fears the Syrian conflict could spill over into neighbouring countries.

U.N. SecretaryGeneral Ban Ki-Moon has voiced concern over┬áthe┬áreports, while Britain’s Foreign Secretary William Hague says it is time to consider lifting the arms embargo on Syria’s opposition.
