The Bathurst Bushrangers Outlaws have been crowned the Central West AFL Champions after their 13-11-89 to 7-9-51 win, over the Orange Tigers.

Leading the charge for the Bathurst side was Tim Hunter, after he gained four goals to help his side into its first title in four seasons.


The CSU Mungals women’s league tag team won its third consecutive New Era Cup title, with a convincing 16-6 triumph over the Wallerawang Warrietes.

Diana Giardino’s second half try helped her earn player of the grand final, after a season in which she starred for the uni side.

Meanwhile in the men’s New Era Cup grand final, the CSU Mungoes fell to the Wallerawang Warriors 28-18, after taking a 12-6 lead into the half-time break.
