Police Seize Large Cannabis Plantation In Gooloogong

Almost 80 cannabis plants have been uncovered on a property in Gooloogong, near Cowra, on Monday.

Gooloogong and Canowindra police were responding to a noise complaint at the Kangaroobie road property, when they stumbled upon the plants.

The plants, which were found inside a shed and under shade cloths at the property, are estimated to have a street value of around $150,000.

The discovery of the plants, which vary in size from half a metre to 1.5 metres in height, marks one of the most significant crop seizures made by central west police in recent times.
