John Cobb: Better, Faster Broadband

Member for Calare John Cobb says if Australia is under a Coalition Government rural residents and businesses will receive the National Broadband Network faster and at a cheaper cost

Mr Cobb was in Bathurst yesterday to discuss strategies with small businesses before the topic turned to broadband

He says the Coalition will deliver speeds from 25 to 50 megabytes per second to all Australian homes and will be costing consumers 26 dollars less a month and around 300 dollars less a year when compared to Labor’s National Broadband Network

Labor candidate for Calare JESS JENNINGS has questioned the Coalitions broadband plans and says what they are proposing is a stone-age plan

Dr Jennings says Labor’s national broadband network is using “future-proof” fibre optics meaning access to all Australians is the top priority
