Digital awareness programs prepare Bathurst locals for 2017 NBN

Bathurst Regional Council will play host to a series of digital workshops this week, in the lead up to the 2017 NBN roll out.

The region is projected to see siginificant economic growth with the arrival of the NBN and council wants to ensure the community is set to make the most of emerging technologies through free digital awareness programs.

There are consultation sessions, digital awareness workshops and online surveys, which the community are encouraged to get involved with.

Council’s Manager of Economic Development Gretchen Armitage says it is critical to the city’s economic stability and a great opportunity for local businesses to have their voices heard.
