Central West petrol prices some of the best

Orange and Bathurst fuel prices are among the cheapest in New South Wales, according to the National Roads and Motorist’s Association’s bowser buster ranking system.

For the week ending July 7, Orange and Bathurst both averaged 149.9 cents per litre for unleaded fuel, tying for 9th spot in the Bowser Buster rankings, which record weekly average fuel prices from 53 locations around the state.

While Bathurst’s fuel prices have fluctuated, dropping in and out of the top ten, Oranges fuel prices have remained consistently low.

The city has ranked in the state’s top ten cheapest places to refuel for the past 7 weeks in a row, on one occasion reaching number one.
