Car accident at Burrendong Way

A woman has been transported to Orange hospital following a single-vehicle accident at Burrendong Way on Saturday morning.

The woman was allegedly travelling in a northerly direction when the car left the road and hit a tree.

The fire and rescue team found the woman trapped in her crushed car, having to cut her out of the vehicle.

The woman sustained minor injuries and is in a stable condition.

Canobolas Local Area Command Sergeant Tony Borland says he was unable to determine a cause at this early stage, but investigations are ongoing.
