Accident closes the Great Western Highway

The Great Western Highway should now be opened after a two vehicle accident at Little Hartley, just outside Lithgow this morning.

The accident occurred at 6.15am, involving a truck and a car, which also caused a fuel spill.

The driver of the car was taken to Napean Hospital in a non-life threatening condition.

Diversions were established via Mid Hartley Road with motorists advised to exercise caution and allow for greater travel times.
