From bad to worse for Australia at Lords

In a reversal of old Ashes roles, England has ruthlessly wrapped up a crushing second Test victory at Lord’s while Australia slid into a losing streak not experienced for 30 years.

The result, which at one stage amid a familiar flurry of wickets appeared likely to happen much earlier on the fourth day, was sealed in the over before stumps, causing the England players to leap into each other’s arms.

We asked some locals what they thought about the Australian cricket side.
