About East/West

East West is a collection of major works from final year journalism students studying the Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) degree at Charles Sturt University. The feature articles produced have been developed as a result of extensive research over the course of semester one.

Students have explored a range of issues relating to an ‘East West’ theme, with topics including politics, economics, social and cultural issues.

Students have used a range of mediums for their works – print/online, audio and audio visual.
East West will guide you through emotional encounters with violence; debate the best methods of education for our nation’s children; investigate Australia’s relation with China; have you re-thinking your outfit as you gaze in the mirror, and condemning the existence of all puppy mills worldwide ...
