After serving mental health charity Lifeline’s region branch for more than a decade, executive director Alex Ferguson has decided to and over the reins to a new chief executive officer.
The role has been appointed to Stephanie Robinson in an aim to bring what Mr Ferguson explained as fresh ideas and new vision.
Ms Robinson will lead a team of 16 staff and 110 volunteers at the regional charity. Some aspects of her role include providing mental health workers with training and overseeing fundraising events.
Ms Robinson has worked with Lifeline Central West for three years as a volunteer, phone crisis supporter on the charity’s hotline.
Ms Robinson has also worked as a centre manager of the region Lifeline since January.
